Hi! Who am I?

I’m a UX writer and content designer with a background in creative writing. That attention to language has stayed with me throughout my career, whether I’m writing microcopy for a payment assistance flow to help customers keep their power on or shaping the content strategy behind a complete overhaul of the transactional emails involved in stopping utility service.
Most of my work has focused on creating inclusive, accessible digital experiences, especially in the utility space, where a well-composed piece of UX copy can genuinely make someone’s day a little easier.
I’m at my best when I’m collaborating across teams, advocating for users who might otherwise feel overlooked, and making sure the language we use actually helps people. At the core of everything I do is a belief that words can and should connect, support, and guide us forward.
I graduated from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and received my bachelor’s in literature from Louisiana State University. I also received a master’s in writing from UMASS Amherst as part of a graduate fellowship. I’m an amateur guitarist, professional bookworm, oxford comma appreciator, and pet lover. My passions include meditation, record collecting, and spending time with my wife and our son.
